About Ashwin
I am a builder, an operator, and a performer. For over a decade I have built businesses, campaigns, and audiences where technology, media, and culture meet.

The Start
I grew up in Boston, the son of immigrant parents, and learned English watching television. I got my start placing talent in films and campaigns, including That’s My Boy, The Heat, and Maxim, and helped sign Boston rapper Tayyib Ali to Def Jam Recordings.
New Hollywood
At New Hollywood I lead entertainment partnerships and strategy, helping brands and entertainment companies work with creators. We ran creator campaigns for Skydance on Mission: Impossible Fallout and Gemini Man, and managed a creator network reaching over one billion monthly impressions. Clients and collaborators have included NBCUniversal, Disney, BMW, and Microsoft.
Building in Public
I produced Engage Music Festival with Prolifik Group and sold out a 6,000 seat arena with 50 performers. I produced the feature film Habit, released theatrically and on demand, an official selection at five film festivals. I hosted The New Hollywood podcast with Kast Media: 17 episodes, a Top 100 podcast on iTunes, charting as high as number 14 in Society and Culture, and listed a Top 20 podcast of 2019 on NASDAQ.
Now
Today I lead entertainment partnerships and strategy at New Hollywood, speak on the creator economy, and write The Intersection.
